Feasibility Analysis/
Business Cases

Project Conception, Strategy and Development

A key part of project conception and development is the front-end scoping of the investigative stages:
that is, working out where you sit on the project development spectrum and what further studies and analysis are needed to take the next steps towards final decision-making.

You can’t do a proper feasibility study on a half-baked idea or a notion. Similarly, it’s not worth the investment required to do a full business case if a proposal or concept hasn’t first passed through certain decision-making layers, test or ‘hoops’. And also consider, who’s going to be the audience for any piece of investigative work?
In framing up an investigative study (options, feasibility or business case), consider when you work at the conceptual/ benchmark level and when you move on to a more detailed and focused examination of specific propositions/options. To do this more detailed work may need technical, engineering and architectural input to assess real sites, technical feasibility and more specific aspects of the proposal options.
Mach 2 has been undertaking investigative projects (feasibility analysis and business case preparation) right across the project conception and development spectrum for over 30 years. We team up with architects, civil engineers, electrical engineers and renewable energy specialists to examine your proposals very closely and critically.

In undertaking this filtering role, objectivity and a dispassionate approach are critical. We have no vested interest in whether or not a project proceeds.
