Craig Kenny has extensive executive level experience in complex and demanding local government environments. He has very strong corporate services and organisational development skills as well as his grounding in community development, policy and planning and large scale community programs and services management.

He has the demonstrated capability to create the conditions for organisational success and achievement, this relies on:

• working closely with stakeholders to ensure there is a clear vision for the organisation or program;
• developing motivated and empowered employees aligned to the vision;
• fostering a culture of efficiency, innovation and continuous improvement;
• ensuring organisational commitment to social and community responsibility; and
• the application of the principles of good governance and ensuring holistic decision making

Craig has significant experience in community engagement, policy, planning and guiding the development of agile and responsive organisations. Good
governance has been at the core of his professional work for two decades and this has established a solid foundation for his consulting work.

At the City of Yarra, Craig held the roles of Director Community Development and Director Organisational Development. Prior to this Craig was Director
Corporate & Community Services for the fast growing Wyndham City Council. Craig achieved significant success with both municipalities and this was
recognised through many awards for innovation, risk management and community engagement.

Craig has worked at the interface between Council and community for over two decades and easily handles the sensitive dynamics of this space. He has planned and facilitated organisational planning and performance accountability processes for all of this time.
He has significant experience in major project management and in particular the importance of stakeholder and community engagement through the project initiation phases.

Craig sits on a number of private and not for profit boards works pro bono for social enterprises and is well credentialed in governance matters.
