Mark Davies

Mark Davies is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience in both the private and public sectors. He commenced his accounting career with PWC in 1988 holding a range of senior positions over an 11 year career including Senior Audit Manager and Principal Consultant.
In 1999 he joined Darebin City Council where he held the positions of Chief Financial Officer and General Manager Corporate Services. In 2008 he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer at the Surf Coast Shire Council a position he held until 2012.
Mark now works as a consultant as part of the Mach 2 Network. He specialises in the provision of financial performance advice working across both the Victorian and South Australian local government sectors.
