Mark is principal of Mach 2 Consulting, a Victorian consultancy which he co-founded in 1993. Prior to this, he had 5 years consulting experience with
KPMG Management Consulting, as senior consultant and then as associate director. This followed 10 years public sector experience in local government management in metropolitan Melbourne.
Mark’s work in the public and private sectors has given him broad-ranging consulting experience in organisations as diverse as municipal councils,
water authorities and merchant banks. He has also worked with numerous companies as well as community based organisations and social enterprises. The types of consulting engagements he has undertake range from high level strategic and business planning projects
to feasibility analysis, business case evaluation and leadership training programs.
Mark is a skilled facilitator of strategic and business planning processes. He has also developed integrated strategic planning processes in a range of
organisations including the City of Melbourne, Business Units of Telstra, North East Water and Goulburn Valley Water. In addition to developing the processes which drive strategic planning, Mark facilitates strategy workshops in client organisations. In doing this, he challenges executives and leaders and works with them to explore new possibilities and to find clarity of organisational strategy and direction.

Mark has had executive recruitment experience in both Australia and London (U.K.) and has worked in remuneration and human resources in
public authorities and merchant banking in Victoria and New South Wales.
